The 160-year-old Grand Hotel Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Point Clear, Alabama is an AAA Four Diamond, 405-room resort hotel on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. It has survived wars, fires and hurricanes since 1847. Unfortunately in August of 2005 The Grand Hotel sustained significant damage from the storm surge associated with Hurricane Katrina.

Today the Queen of Southern Resorts has made another historic comeback. Over the summer and fall months of 2006 Fabrication Specialists worked in concert with Doster Construction to renovate the architectural millwork of the ballrooms, conference center, guestrooms, restaurant, and Bucky's Lounge.
